We are heading back to the apartment tonight to drink a final toast to this amazing trip (champagne of course) washed down with pizza - how fitting for the Fast Food Nation eh?
This has been such a wonderful experience, and one we had never imagined we would do even just a few years ago. For those of you even contemplating doing a trip (whether 2 days, 2 weeks or longer - do it - it doesn't have to be a long trip, or expensive, but it does have to be something that you perhaps dreamed of trying, or even never imagined you ever would - you would not regret it.
Sunday morning sees us back in the UK and wondering whether this was all just a dream, since we land back to normality with a big bump - Craig goes back to work on Wednesday.
For all those from LCC still reading the journal, just a quickie - no, I'm not coming back - and did you know that yesterday I came down with a cold - my first cold since leaving that Apex office - sort of says something really!!
Anyway, from both of us - thank you to everyone reading our journal, we really hope you enjoyed sharing some of our adventure. We have lots more planned for the site (not just photos) so please come back and visit over the next few weeks. We feel inspired to perhaps write a book, and a few other ideas are still in the creation stage.
