So here we are 2007 already.

What a fantastic year 2006 was, seeing some amazing places and meeting some fantastic people.

Well 2007 started off very nicely indeed, with a fantastic New Years Eve, spent with Lorna (the most amazing woman in the world).

It was my birthday this week and Lorna took me Quad Bike Rallying across the Welsh valleys (an experience you have to try, it was awesome).

What does 2007 hold for us, who knows, but we can guarantee it will be as much fun as 2006.

Jan 27/28 will see us exhibiting at Tatton Park in Cheshire (oh my), then Feb sees us at the NEC. Check out www.ourweddingroom.com for all of the details.

Anyhoo Happy New Year to all our really good friends.

Well Tis the Season to be Jolly.

Its almost Chrimbo time, our trees (yes 4 of them) are up, the biggest stands at 7ft tall and 6ft wide.

We have just finished the shopping and are now set for a nice relaxing few days in the cottage out in the wilds of Wales. Its cold, but we do have a nice roaring fire to keep us warm.

So to each and every one of you from Lorna, Craig and Spike (the cat), have a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful New Year and we hope to see you all real soon.

Merry Christmas

Well its been a wee while since we did our last update, so what's been happening to us?

Well we are gearing up and getting ready for the two shows that we are exhibiting at, yes that's right, we are going to exhibit at Tatton Park in Chester and the NEC in Birmingham. And what are we doing, well we are showing off www.ourweddingroom.com and everything there is to know about it.

What else, well little Spikey is ****H A P P Y**** darting around the wilds of Wales, while being picked on by pheasants and wabbits.

We have launched a new service called www.ourcelebrationroom.com for anyone with something to celebrate.

Apart from that Lorna is getting deep into Pampered Cheffing and we are both getting set for Christmas.

A big Hi to Al, Bel and Hazel who came up to see us in the cottage and also Stu and Jen who came down for the weekend. Next up will be Christina, David, Leana in December and hopefully Pauline, Ian, Stef and Graeme in the New Year.

Apart from that we wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a brilliant New Year.

Hi there and welcome to sheep country.

Well here we are nicely settled for a shortish period of time to try out our new venture www.ourweddingroom.com which is aimed as an online service for couples getting married or having a civil ceremony. Have a look at the site and if you know of anyone getting married then point them in the general direction (there's even a bottle of champagne in it for you).

We will still be updating the site over the coming months and letting everyone know how we get on exhibiting at the NEC in Feb 07.

After that, who knows, more travelling?

Well Helloooooo from the border of England and that there Wales.

So here we are taking a small rest for a few months, taking Spike out of prison (that's bound to help Labour and the over crowding issue) and pulling our stuff out of storage (yes the stuff Lorna did not sell on Ebay or no-one wanted). Enjoying a short respite in a wonderful cottage where the nearest neighbour is oh about 1 mile away (not that we are anti-social at all). Time to chill, take a small breather from the travels before we plan phase 3 of the Big Adventure.

We have 6 months to sit, relax and plan what comes next, hope you are all well and having the same amount of fun that we are.

More pictures to be added as we take them.

Hi there everyone,

It's been a while since we did an email update to you all. We've been back in the UK for just over a month now, most of it spent touring around the UK in the Banana Wagon, which has been good fun.

Finally we have found somewhere we are going to stop for a short while and rest and decide on the future - to travel or not to travel that is the question.....

So, we are planning to rent somewhere in the countryside in the Welsh borders for at least 6 months, have a fab Christmas, let pussy cat out of the cattery and give him his freedom back, before planning our next Big Adventure!

Why Wales I know you are asking - well, the one thing we have come to appreciate during our travels is peace & quiet and space - wide open countryside with few people around and just wildlife. We considered the North East of Scotland, which is wonderfully rugged and has fantastic wide open spaces, but at 7 hours travel distance from West Yorkshire its a bit too far out. So, Wales became an easy choice for rural living, and hey, we wanted a change of scenery rather than Yorkshire. Plus it gives us a chance to explore all the tiny country lanes down here on our mountain bikes and get fit for once!

Pebble In The Sea is coming along quite nicely and we are just about to add another major string to our bow making Wales even more perfect due to easy access to most of the UK.

Our major struggle here is the language, you try pronouncing Welsh place names, and the actual Welsh language is sooo difficult and now widely used. Centred around the Welshpool area we have noticed how friendly everyone is. The first day we arrived in Wales we met a funny guy who moved here from Woverhampton. As he was explaining how nice the area was he told us about the crime rates down here, describing crime in Welshpool as "nearly crimes". He went on to explain this is because a woman "nearly" had her mobile phone stolen and someone "nearly" shoplifted. Sure enough the local papers delight in reporting these nearly crimes!

As you can see we fit right in with the sense of humour!

So, today we move on to our next holiday cottage rental near Dolanog, a tiny little village, and then we stay there for 2 weeks while we hear whether we have secured our rental cottage - we have fingers crossed!

Coming soon on www.ouronebigadventure.com will be a review of the holiday cottages we have stayed in and our recommendations of the best if you are looking for somewhere to stay.

So long for now, we will keep doing the diary updates (although probably less frequently now) and hope everyone is well and happy.
